Volleyball Holding Weekly Open Gyms throughout Spring Inside Ewing Fieldhouse

February 4, 2026 - - The Lorain County Community College women’s volleyball team will host open gyms throughout the spring for full-time students interested in joining the Commodores for the Fall 2026 season. Open gyms will be held on Mondays inside the Ewing Activities Center on LCCC’s Elyria Campus from 8–9:30 p.m. and will continue through May.
Volleyball’s Habeck Makes NJCAA DIII Second Team All-American

December 10, 2025 - - Lorain County Community College sophomore Gabriella Habeck (Huron, Ohio/Edison HS) has been named to the NJCAA Division II Second Team All-American list for the 2025 women's volleyball season, becoming one of the nation’s top recognized players at the two-year collegiate level.
Habeck, Rumancik Earn All-Conference Honors for LCCC Volleyball

November 13, 2025 - - Lorain County Community College sophomores Gabriella Habeck (Huron, Ohio/Edison HS) and Ally Rumancik (North Ridgeville, Ohio/Olmsted Falls HS) have been named to the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) All-Conference Team for the 2025 women’s volleyball season. Habeck earned First Team All-OCCAC honors, while Rumancik was selected to the Second Team.
Volleyball Falls To Delta College In Region 12 Championship

October 28, 2025 – The Lorain County Community College volleyball team opened strong in the NJCAA Region 12 Division III Championship match, taking the first set 25-21, but Delta College regrouped to win three straight sets (25-21, 25-15, 25-21) and secure the regional title.

October 21, 2025 – Lorain County Community College sophomore Gabriella Habeck has been named the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) Player of the Week for the week of October 21, 2025. The award marks her first of the season and the third of her career.

September 18, 2025 - - The Lorain County Community College women’s volleyball team split back-to-back matches this week, rallying for a dramatic five-set road win at Penn State Shenango on Tuesday before dropping their home opener Wednesday night, falling in four sets to Lakeland Community College.
Commodores Get First OCCAC Win vs. Terra State CC

September 11, 2025 - - The Lorain County Community College women’s volleyball team earned its first Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) win of the season on Wednesday night, outlasting Terra State in a five-set battle (25-21, 25-23, 20-25, 10-25, 15-9). With the victory, the Commodores move to 1-1 in conference play and 2-4 overall.
Commodores Split Saturday Doubleheader at Butler Tri-Match

In the opener, the Commodores came out sharp and controlled the tempo, defeating Harrisburg in straight sets to secure their first victory of the season. The Commodores hit .280 and built a 10-point lead on the Hawks. Gabriella Habeck (Huron, Ohio/Edison HS) paced the attack with 11 kills, 10 digs, and a block assist, while Sydney Robinson (Oberlin, Ohio/Firelands HS) added 7 kills on a .375 hitting percentage.
