Bio

Izabel Gallardo-Santo Domingo has played volleyball for eight years and prides herself on being able to play everywhere on the volleyball court.  She says she fell in love with the game of volleyball because it gives her the opportunity to be involved.  

As a student of Elyria High School, Santo Domingo was a setter on the varsity volleyball team for two years.  In addition to her athletic accomplishments, she was a link leader, member of student council, and National Honors Society. She also participated in the Pioneer track program as a long jumper.

Apart from competing in volleyball at EHS, she also played JO volleyball where she says all of her favorite volleyball memories were created.

Santo Domingo is enrolled in the design program at LCCC.

2022 Season: Made LCCC debut against Edison State College on August 20, 2022 and recorded 16 digs, six service aces, and one kill . . .  Recorded her first 30+ dig game against Mott Community College on August 27, 2022 with 35 . . . Has posted four matches of 20+ digs . . . Had a career-high 41 digs against Cuyahoga            Community College on Sept. 29, 2022 . . . Currently ranked first in the OCCAC in digs per set with 5.59
