Pettis Jr. and Roe Named to NJCAA DIII Region 12 All-Region Team

March 27, 2026 - - Lorain County Community College men's basketball sophomores Dennis Pettis Jr. (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) and Jayveon Roe (Euclid, Ohio/Villa Angela-St. Joseph HS) were named to the NJCAA Division III Region 12 All-Region Team.

Pettis Jr. earns the honor for the second straight season after averaging nearly 20 points per game.  He scored 20+ points 10 times, including four games of 27 or more, despite playing only half the season due to injury.  He recorded a 13-rebound game against Clark State on Jan. 24, 2026, and a 10-assist performance against Community Christian College on Feb. 2.

In the Region 12 Championship against Owens Community College, Pettis Jr. finished with 27 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

Roe was one of the region's most efficient scorers during the 2025–26 season, recording 12 games of 20 or more points along with multiple double-digit rebounding performances. He posted a season-high 32 points against Butler County Community College on Jan. 3, 2026, and added a 31-point outing later in the season.

Among NJCAA Region 12 players across both Division II and III, Roe ranked fourth in field goal percentage and fifth in total field goals made.  He also finished among the top 15 scorers with 536 total points and averaged 17.9 points per game.

In the Region 12 Championship, Roe scored 21 points on 9-of-10 shooting.
