February 7, 2026 - - The Lorain County Community College men's basketball team fell to Clark State College, 98–68, Saturday morning in Springfield, Ohio.
The Commodores took a 25–24 lead with just over nine minutes remaining in the first half after Julian Daniels (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) connected on a three-point basket. Clark State answered with a 20–8 run to regain the lead and take control. The Eagles led 44–33 at halftime and outscored LCCC 54–35 in the second half.
Jayveon Roe (Euclid, Ohio/Villa Angela-St. Joseph HS) led LCCC with 20 points and 10 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season, shooting 69 percent from the field (9-of-13). Ike Rowser (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) added 18 points, including four three-pointers, while Dennis Pettis Jr. (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) finished with 15 points and went 7-of-8 from the free-throw line.
Daniels totaled 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds. Aven Kielian (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) contributed five points and five assists.
