LCCC Men’s Basketball Loses To Triceratops On The Road

December 12, 2024 - - The Lorain County Community College Commodores faced a tough outing against the high-scoring Cuyahoga Community College Triceratops Wednesday evening, falling 128-57 on December 11, 2024.

Julius Moon (Lorain, Ohio/Open Door Christian HS) and Dennis Pettis Jr. (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) each scored in double figures for the Commodores with 10 points apiece. Deonte Benejan (Queens, N.Y./Lorain HS) added 8 points and grabbed 3 rebounds.

Kayden Thomas (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) and Anthony Atkins (Cleveland, Ohio/Valley Forge HS) tied for the team lead with 5 rebounds each.

The Commodores shot 35.6% from the field and just 15.4% from three-point range (2-for-13).

The Commodores will travel to Westmoreland County Community College to take on the Wolfpack on December 17, 2024, at 7 p.m.
