Beck Wins Second OCCAC Player of the Week Award; LCCC’s Fifth of 2024

September 30, 2024 - - For the third straight week, and the fifth time this season, Lorain County Community College can hoist the top player of the week award given out by the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference.

Isabella Beck (Wellington, Ohio/Wellington HS) was dominant in the Commodores' victory against then ranked No. 3 Owens Community College in four sets.  The freshman outside hitter connected for 23 kills (her first 20+ kill match of the season) and had 14 digs to go with her two block assists.

Beck ranks seventh in the OCCAC in total kills with 134 and eighth in kills per set with 2.91.

Her first win of the award came on September 2, 2024.
