Farris Gets Fourth OCCAC POW Award

 

Chelsey Farris received her fourth Ohio Community College Athletic Conference Player of the Week award this week after a dominant finish to the regular season where she helped the Commodores go 2-1.  She shares the award with Ava Sholtis of Owens Community College.

She nabbed 52 kills, hit for .383, and recorded 15 blocks (six solo) in the three contests against Owens, Edison State and Clark State.

Farris this season is tops in the OCCAC in kills per set (4.07), hitting percentage (.362), and points per set (5.1).  Nationally amongst DIII players, she is 7th in hitting percentage and points per set while 8th in kills per set.  She is 10th in blocks pet set.

Farris previously received the award on August 22, September 12, and October 3.
