The recognition comes on the heels of a strong 2025 season for the Commodores. LCCC capped its campaign with a seventh-place finish at the NJCAA Division III National Championships in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Competing in near-freezing temperatures and blizzard conditions, the Commodores battled through one of the toughest race environments of the year to secure a top-10 national finish for the sixth time under head coach Jim Powers.
Robinson led LCCC at nationals with a 17th-place finish in 28:52.2 over the 8-kilometer course. Hurst, Sweene and Jackson also competed in the championship race, helping anchor the team's top-seven finish against a 14-team field.
