Men’s Cross Country Finish 7th in Final USTFCCCA Rankings Ahead of Nationals

October 29, 2025 - - The Lorain County Community College men's cross country team closed out the regular season ranked No. 7 in the final U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NJCAA Division III National Coaches' Poll this week.

 

The Commodores have been led all season by standout runners Franco Gallo (Avon, Ohio/Avon HS) and Jared Robinson (Grafton, Ohio/Midview HS), whose consistent performances have helped keep LCCC among the top Division III programs in the nation.

 

Most recently, Gallo turned in an outstanding effort at the NJCAA Region 12 Championships held in Goodells, Michigan, finishing 17th overall and second among Division III runners with a time of 26:44.9.

 

Earlier in the season, Robinson and Gallo both excelled at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational, where Robinson finished 26th and Gallo placed 51st out of more than 200 runners.

 

The Commodores now look ahead to the NJCAA Division III National Championships, held in Fort Dodge, Iowa, on November 8, 2025.
