Men’s Cross Country Opens 2025 Season at Wooster Invitational; Gallo Places In Top-40
August 29, 2025 - - The Lorain County Community College men's cross country team competed at the Wooster Invitational, held at the L.C. Boles Memorial Golf Course at the College of Wooster Friday evening to kick off their 2025 season.
Leading the way for the Commodores was Franco Gallo (Avon, Ohio/Avon HS), who ran the four-mile race in 23:32.5 and placed 37th out of 84 competitors.
LCCC did not compete in the women's race.

For the first time since 2017, Lorain County Community College will host the Commodore Invitational on September 12, 2025 at 4 p.m. The non-scoring event will be a men's and women's combined 5K race on the LCCC Cross Country Course on the Elyria campus.
