Ike Rowser Named OCCAC Player of the Week After Record Setting Performance

February 3, 2026 - - Lorain County Community College men's basketball player Ike Rowser (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) has been named the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his performance on Jan. 31 against conference rival Hocking College. 

 

Rowser led LCCC to a 123-107 win over Hocking College last Saturday, finishing with 41 points in 36 minutes of action. He shot 15-of-22 from the field and connected on 10-of-13 attempts from beyond the arc.   

 

His 10 baskets from downtown set an LCCC single-game record and marked the most made threes in a game since Thomas Hronis (North Ridgeville, Ohio/North Ridgeville HS) hit nine against Owens Community College on February 2, 2019. 

 

In addition to his scoring, Rowser recorded 11 rebounds to go along with his two assists and two steals. 

 

This season, Rowser is averaging 15 points per game and has scored in double figures for the Commodores in six straight games. Among his peers in the OCCAC, he ranks first in most 3-point baskets (69), fourth in total field goals (126), and fifth in total points scored (343).
