Commodores Come up Short Against Penn Highlands
December 23, 2025 - - The Lorain County Community College men's basketball team closed out the 2025 portion of its schedule with an 110–80 loss at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College on Monday night in Johnstown, Pa.
LCCC was led by Jayveon Roe (Euclid, Ohio/Villa Angela-St. Joseph HS), who turned in an efficient performance with a team-high 24 points on 11-of-18 shooting while adding seven rebounds. Julian Daniels (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) posted a double-double, finishing with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and scored nine points from the charity stripe.
Aven Kiliean (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) provided a spark from the perimeter, scoring 13 points while knocking down 3-of-5 three-pointers, and added three assists. Quavion Grant (Lorain, Ohio/Clearview HS) also reached double figures with 13 points, connecting on two shots from beyond the arc. Ike Rowser (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) contributed across the stat sheet with six points, six assists, and four rebounds.
LCCC trailed 44–36 at halftime, but Pennsylvania Highlands pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Commodores 66-44.
LCCC will return to action after the holiday break when they travel to Butler County Community College on January 3, 2026.
