December 16, 2025 - - The Lorain County Community College men's basketball team fell 102–82 to Kent State Tuscarawas on Tuesday night despite trimming the deficit to single digits in the second half.
LCCC was led by Ike Rowser (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS), who scored a team-high 25 points while shooting 8-of-13 from the field and 7-of-9 from three-point range. Jayveon Roe (Euclid, Ohio/ Villa Angela-St. Joseph HS) added 15 points, seven rebounds, and three assists, while Julian Daniels (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) contributed 13 points and a team-high nine rebounds off the bench. Bryson Hicks (Elyria, Ohio/Midview HS) finished with 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting before fouling out.
Kent State Tuscarawas led 54–43 at halftime. LCCC cut the Golden Eagles' advantage to single digits during the second half, but Kent State answered to pull away and secure the home win.
