December 10, 2025 - - The Lorain County Community College men's basketball team fell 107–87 to Cuyahoga Community College on Wednesday night at the Ewing Activities Center Gymnasium. LCCC cut the deficit to single digits midway through the second half but was unable to sustain the push.
LCCC had five players score in double figures. Jayveon Roe (Euclid, Ohio/Villa Angela-St. Joseph HS) led the Commodores with 21 points on 10-of-19 shooting, adding three assists and nine rebounds. Bryson Hicks (Elyria, Ohio/Midview HS) posted 16 points and nine rebounds, while Ike Rowser (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) finished with 12 points, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals in 33 minutes.
Off the bench, Julian Daniels (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) and Quavion Grant (Lorain, Ohio/Clearview HS) each contributed 12 points, with Grant going 8-of-10 from the free-throw line.
LCCC also held a 58–46 advantage in points in the paint and outscored Tri-C in second-chance points, 27–18.
The Commodores shot 42.6% in the second half as they climbed back within single digits, but Cuyahoga's offense stayed efficient, finishing at 50.7% from the field.
