Men’s Basketball Comeback Effort Falls Short Against Tri-C
November 15, 2025 - - The Lorain County Community College men's basketball shrunk a double digit lead by the Triceratops to single digits in the second half on Saturday but ultimately fell to Cuyahoga Community College 99–75 on the road at the Metro Gymnasium.
Julian Daniels (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) and Jayveon Roe (Euclid, Ohio/Villa Angela–St. Joseph HS) led LCCC with 18 points each. Daniels added three rebounds, two assists, and two steals while shooting 4-of-6 from three-point range. Roe finished 7-of-9 from the field with seven rebounds and one steal.
Ike Rowser (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) totaled eight points, three rebounds, two assists, and one steal, while Aven Kiliean (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) added eight points, four rebounds, three assists, and a team-high four steals.
Bryson Hicks (Elyria, Ohio/Midview HS) provided seven points off the bench, and Tariel Llanos (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) added four points and four rebounds.
LCCC trailed by 10 at the break, 53–43, but cut the Triceratops' lead to six near the midpoint of the second half before Tri-C pulled away late. The Commodores finished with 42 rebounds, including 12 on the offensive end, and shot 70.8% (17-of-24) from the free-throw line.
