Butler Pulls Away in Second Half vs. LCCC

November 13, 2025 - - The Lorain County Community College men's basketball team (0–4) fell to Butler County Community College (PA) 125–101 on Thursday night inside the Ewing Activities Center Gymnasium. 

LCCC kept the game competitive through the first half, trailing 63–51 at the break in a closely called matchup that featured 49 total fouls and 73 free-throw attempts.  Butler improved to 3-0 on the year with the win.

Julian Daniels (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) led the Commodores with 28 points on 9-of-14 shooting, including 3-of-4 from three-point range, while adding four rebounds and six assists.  Isaiah Rowser (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) recorded 16 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Jayveon Roe (Euclid, Ohio/Villa Angela-St. Joseph HS) finished with 14 points and seven rebounds.  Aven Kiliean (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) added 11 points, six rebounds, and a team-high six assists.  Tariel Llanos (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) contributed nine points and six rebounds off the bench, while Anthony Atkins (Cleveland, Ohio/Valley Forge HS) scored seven points and pulled down three rebounds.

As a team, LCCC shot 47.3% from the field and 43.5% from three-point range while collecting 50 rebounds and 46 points from its bench unit.

LCCC travels to Cuyahoga Community College to take on the Triceratops on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Metro Gymnasium in their first Ohio Community College Athletic Conference matchup of the 2025–26 season.
