November 8, 2025 –– The Lorain County Community College men's basketball team fell to Henry Ford College, 108–64, in its home opener inside the Ewing Activities Center Gymnasium on Saturday.
Jayveon Roe (Euclid, Ohio/Villa Angela-St. Joseph HS) led the way with 17 points and 11 rebounds, recording his first double-double of the season while shooting 8-of-13 from the floor. Julian Daniels (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) provided a spark off the bench with 15 points and four offensive rebounds.
Isaiah Rowser (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) added seven points, nine rebounds, and two assists, while Aven Kiliean (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) chipped in six points, three assists, and three steals.
As a team, LCCC improved offensively in the second half, shooting 34.8% from the field and hitting 81.8% (9-of-11) from the free-throw line after the break.
The Commodores also pulled down 46 rebounds, including 21 on the offensive glass, leading to 15 second-chance points.
