Commodore Esports Recruiting for Spring 2026 Season

February 11, 2026 - - The Lorain County Community College Commodore Esports program is officially recruiting for the Spring 2026 season.  With rosters currently being built, the program is seeking dedicated evening players across multiple competitive titles.  Whether you are an experienced competitor or a player ready to take the next step, now is the time to join LCCC's Esports team.

Commodore Esports competes in structured collegiate leagues and offers students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to represent LCCC in organized competition. The program emphasizes teamwork, skill development, and a strong sense of community both in and out of competition.

Weekly Competition Schedule

Commodore Esports teams compete on the following nights:

  • Monday – Marvel Rivals
  • Tuesday – Call of Duty (4v4), Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
  • Wednesday – Overwatch 2 and Mario Kart (4v4)
  • Thursday – Valorant, Mario Kart
  • Friday – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 3v3 Crew Battle

Each title is currently looking to add one to two committed players who are available to practice and compete during the week. 

Other titles available are: League of Legends, Fortnite, Chess, EA FC, Madden, NBA 2K, Hearthstone, Apex Legends, Street Fighter, Rocket League, StarCraft II, Rainbow Six Siege, Counter Strike II

Who Can Join?

Participation is open to eligible LCCC students, faculty, and staff. If you are part of the campus community and have an interest in competitive gaming, you are encouraged to apply.
