Dylan Coughlin Wins OCCAC Pitcher of the Week Honors

March 12, 2026 - - Lorain County Community College baseball player Dylan Coughlin (Amherst, Ohio/Amherst HS) has been named the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week following his performance against Miami University Hamilton.

Coughlin earned the weekly award after pitching 5.2 innings in LCCC's seven-inning victory.  He allowed just one unearned run on four hits while striking out seven batters and issuing two walks.

In addition to his work on the mound, Coughlin is batting .286 with three RBI through six games.

LCCC returns to action this weekend with a four-game series against Clark State College.  The teams will play a doubleheader Saturday at West Jefferson High School in West Jefferson, Ohio, before the Commodores host the Eagles Sunday at ForeFront Field in Avon, Ohio.  Both doubleheaders are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
