Bio
Vicki is Adjunct Faculty in the Health and Wellness Sciences Division at LCCC since 2009 and her fifth season as the Assistant XC Coach. Prior, Vicki coached all levels from a MS State Championship Team, high school and she continues to build a youth run club foundation in the community. Vicki was the 2013 Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches’s Clinic (OATCCC) Presenter on the topic of Core and Strength and in 2020 all sports leadership local conference speaker, Student Athletes and Mental Health. Vicki teaches credit courses at LCCC including Nutrition, Stress Management, Pilates/Yoga, Kickboxing, Spin and Strength. She is an occupational therapist, and also a group exercise instructor and retreat leader for local fitness centers; Supporter of all LCCC XC Course events including the OHSAA District meet, LCCC Running Camp team building and conditioning, and is the founder of the Avon Veterans XC Course of Courage, two mile and 5K distance as a give back and growth of the sport in the area. An alumna of LCCC/University Partnership, undergraduate studies in psychology/biology and further completion of graduate school earning her Masters of OT with Cleveland State University. In 2021, Vicki was also awarded an Ohio College Teaching Consortium Inclusive Teaching Endorsement and is inspired by every minute of coaching student athletes towards the possible and elite performances in the classroom, on the course, and training for life.
