SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week - March 1-8, 2026

Leo Soneson (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 1–8, 2026.

Soneson contributed both on the mound and at the plate during LCCC’s four-game weekend series against Miami University Hamilton.

He recorded a save in the Commodores’ first win of the season at ForeFront Field, closing out the victory against Miami Hamilton. The following day, Soneson pitched another scoreless inning at Miami Hamilton to help preserve the lead in LCCC’s second win of the series.

Offensively, Soneson finished the four-game series with four hits while driving in two runs and scoring once for the Commodores.
