SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week - Feb. 15-21

Austin Lukachko (North Ridgeville, Ohio/North Ridgeville HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 15-21, 2026.

Lukachko earned a 1–0 victory over Jordan Cummings of Salt Lake Community College on Feb. 16 in Week 3 Chess competition.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Solos, he recorded two match wins in Division I play. Lukachko defeated Malachi Barker of Bryant & Stratton College–Virginia Beach, 3–0, in a Terry vs. Zelda matchup in which each game came down to one stock. He followed with a 3–1 victory over Cameron Wilson of Lake Michigan College, utilizing multiple characters throughout the set. Lukachko opened with Palutena for a Game 1 win, switched to Link in Game 2, moved to Zelda for a Game 3 win, and returned to Palutena to close the match.

Lukachko also competed with LCCC’s Valorant team in a 2–0 win over Western Iowa Tech Community College. He recorded multiple multi-kill rounds on Haven and earned match MVP honors on both Haven (13–6) and Split (13–8) maps.
