SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week - Feb. 8-14

Dennis Pettis Jr. (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 8-14, 2026.

Pettis averaged 24.0 points over three games while leading the Commodores in scoring during the week. He shot 28-of-61 (45.9 percent) from the field, including 6-of-14 from three-point range, and added 10 free throws.

He opened the week with 28 points in a 93-83 win over Owens Community College on Feb. 9, shooting 11-of-21 from the field while adding nine rebounds, six assists, and six steals.

On Feb. 11 at Owens, Pettis scored 27 points on 12-of-26 shooting to go along with eight rebounds and four assists. He closed the week with 17 points against Edison State on Feb. 14, adding six rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block.
